A full review of teeth, gums, bite, and soft tissue, with everything we find explained to you on screen. Nothing gets scheduled before you understand why.
What it is
A comprehensive exam is the wide view. Every tooth is charted, the gums are measured, the bite is assessed, and the soft tissues are screened, so we are working from a complete picture rather than one sore spot.
It is the starting point for new patients and a periodic reset for existing ones. Things change over the years, and an old chart is not a current one.
Findings are reviewed with you at the chair, on the same screen we are looking at. You leave with a written summary of what we found.

What to expect
History
We ask about your medical history, your habits, and what you want from your teeth. It shapes everything that follows.
Clinical exam
Tooth by tooth charting, gum measurements, bite evaluation, and an oral cancer screening as standard.
Imaging
Any images needed are taken and displayed chairside. You see them as we do, not through a closed door.
Discussion and summary
We explain what we found, what needs attention now, and what can be watched. You get it in writing.
Questions we hear most
Longer than a routine check up, because there is more to cover. The front desk will tell you the time set aside when you book.
Often, because some things cannot be seen any other way. We take what is needed for your situation and no more.
We tell you clearly, explain the options including doing nothing for now, and give you time to think it over.
