Our team

The people you will actually see.

Every doctor here treats patients directly. There is no rotating cast and no case handed off to whoever is free that morning. If you want the same dentist at every visit, ask for them by name when you book and we will schedule it that way.

Dr. Brian Marino

Owner and practicing dentist

Dr. Brian Marino

Dr. Marino bought this practice in 2021 and works in it every week. He is not a name on the door who shows up for the difficult cases. If he is your dentist, he is the one who examines you, plans the treatment, and does the work.

He has provided Invisalign since 2004, and he is one of a small number of dentists who have toured the Invisalign manufacturing facility in Costa Rica to work directly with the case specialists there. That means he plans alignment cases with a clear idea of what the lab can and cannot do.

Most of his time goes to implants and larger restorative work. He is direct about what he sees on the imaging, and just as direct when nothing needs to be done yet.

General and family dentist

Dr. Stacy Gurbarg

Dr. Gurbarg grew up outside Philadelphia and studied at the University of Virginia before dental school at Columbia, where she was recognized for leadership and for excellence in restorative dentistry.

Her residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center added training in oral surgery, implantology, endodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. She is also Invisalign certified, so alignment cases can start and finish with her.

She lives in Ramsey with her husband and two cats. Outside the office she cooks, walks, travels, and will happily admit to being an unapologetic foodie.

General dentist

Dr. Anthony Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen practices all aspects of general dentistry, with an eye on where a patient's mouth will be in ten years rather than only what needs fixing today. He builds care around what the person in the chair actually wants.

In the office he is known for being both silly and unhurried. Patients who come in nervous tend to leave calmer, because he stops, explains, and answers the same question twice if that is what it takes.

He studied biochemistry at San Jose State University before earning his dental degree at Touro College of Dental Medicine, and he takes continuing education seriously year after year.

      Beyond the doctors

Hygienists, assistants, and the front desk.

Most of your time in this office is spent with a hygienist, and ours have been here long enough to remember what your gums looked like last year. They work carefully, they explain what they are seeing as they go, and they will tell you plainly if something needs a closer look from a dentist.

At the front, the same faces answer the phone, handle your insurance questions, and sort out scheduling when life gets in the way. They know regulars by voice. If a claim looks confusing, ask them to walk you through it before you pay anything.

Request a doctor by name when you book.

Tell us who you would like to see and we will build the schedule around it. If you are new and not sure, call and we will help you pick.
