Our Practice

Montville Center for Dentistry is independently owned by Dr. Brian Marino. After acquiring Dr. James Walter's longstanding Montville office in 2021, he rebuilt the practice from the ground up while keeping the relationships that came with it.
Everything happens in one building: hygiene, restorative work, implants placed and restored in house, Invisalign, and emergency care. You are not sent across the county for each step of your treatment.
The pace is deliberate. Appointment blocks run longer, treatment is explained before it is ever scheduled, and there is no pressure to accept work you do not need.

iTero digital scanning
A digital scanner replaces traditional impression trays. The scan builds a 3D model of your own mouth, which you can look at on screen with us during the visit.
Panoramic imaging
Panoramic imaging captures a full-arch view of the teeth and jaws. We use it for wisdom teeth evaluation, implant planning, and orthodontic assessment.

I had gone to the office when Dr. Walter was there and was hesitant to continue under the new management. However, I did and was pleasantly surprised. My initial exam was in depth and thorough. Since I had missed a few cleanings, I needed a deep clean. It was painless. Most recently, Dr. Nguyen did a crown for me. I was nervous and my anxiety was high. Dr. Nguyen immediately put me at ease. I have always had a really great experience at this office. Dr. Gubarg is phenomenal at her job and was able to meet me exactly where I was at. With her help, I was able to get all the work I needed done at my own pace and it made everything so approachable. From the hygienists to the front desk, everyone is always so welcoming and I actually look forward to my appointments. I finally got Invisalign, and I can't believe I'm already almost halfway done! I never would have felt comfortable enough to consider it if it hadn't been for the staff here. Highly recommend!
Implants and full arch
Complex implant work goes to our own surgical practice.
Some cases need more than a general chair. Full arch reconstruction, multiple implant placement, bone grafting and cases that other offices have already declined all call for a room built specifically for that work.
Elevate Smile Solutions in Montville is that room. It is owned by Dr. Brian Marino and Kristen Marino, the same owners as Montville Center for Dentistry, and it is the surgical and full arch practice within our group. When your treatment plan calls for implants at that level, you are not referred out to a stranger. You are seen by our team, in our building, in the same building from here.
Your records go with you, your general care stays here, and the two offices talk to each other because they answer to the same people.
