Our Practice

A Montville practice with a long memory and new equipment.

This office has cared for Montville families for decades, first under Dr. James Walter, whose patients stayed with him year after year. Dr. Brian Marino took it over in 2021 and rebuilt it, adding new technology and a wider range of care while keeping the things people already liked about coming here.

Since 2021

What changed, and what did not.

In April 2021, Dr. Marino acquired Dr. Walter's practice. The first decision was the easiest one. The team stayed. The front desk still knows your name, the hygienists still remember what you told them last spring, and the office still feels like a neighborhood practice rather than a branch of something larger.

The building came next. The treatment rooms were updated, the common areas were refreshed, and the older equipment was replaced. Digital scanning took the place of trays of impression material. Panoramic imaging gave us a full view of the jaw in seconds. The work is quieter and faster now, and you spend less time in the chair for the same result.

Then the range of care grew. Implants, Invisalign, and larger restorative cases used to mean a referral to another office across town. Today those cases are planned and completed here, by the team that already knows your history. Fewer handoffs means fewer surprises.

The wider group has grown too, with offices across Morris and Hunterdon counties. Each one is staffed locally and run by the dentists who work in it. Shared resources make better equipment possible. They do not change who greets you at the door.

How we work

Four things we do not compromise on.

01

Diagnose honestly.

We do not find work that is not there. If your teeth are healthy, we will tell you that and send you home. A clean exam is a good visit, not a missed opportunity.

02

Explain before you schedule.

You see the imaging on the screen and we walk through what it shows. Then we lay out the options, including the option to wait and watch. Nothing is booked until you say so.

03

Keep it under one roof.

The same team handles each phase of your care. Your records, your scans, and your history stay in one place. That is fewer appointments, fewer forms, and fewer things lost between offices.

04

Respect the clock.

Appointments start when they are scheduled to start. We build the day around that rather than stacking chairs and hoping it works out. Your time counts as much as ours.

The group

Four offices, same standard.

Montville is one of four practices across Morris and Hunterdon counties, each locally staffed and run by the dentists who work there.

Come see the office before you commit to anything.

Visit, meet the team, and ask whatever you want to ask. We will walk you through what we see, and nothing gets scheduled until you decide it should.
